Beginning October 11, 2022, individual tourists may visit Japan. At that time, tourists with U.S. passports will no longer need visas for short-term visits (up to three months).

VISA INSTRUCTION GUIDE FOR JAPAN NON-US Passport

BUSINESS VISA FOR NON-US- Please send the following:

1. Passport, signed and valid for at least 6 months. Very important the traveler does have at least two blank visa pages.

2. One (1) Visa Application Form.All questions answered, and the applications must be typed.

3. Two (2) passport size photos, color.

4.One (1) Authorization & Disclaimer Form

5.Copy of the Certificate for completion of registration to the ERFS system *To obtain a Certificate for completion of registration to the ERFS system, a sponsoring organization located in Japan (e.g., inviting/employing companies) needs to complete prescribed application through the Entrants Returnees Follow-up System (ERFS). After the application, ""Certificate for completion of Registration to the ERFS system (受付 済証:Uketsukezumisho)"" will be issued.
